“The Lace Shirt” & “The Pike Jacket” — Two Studies in White
This shirt is made entirely of lace — not trimmed with it, not accented by it, but constructed from it. Cut to an original FN pattern, the shirt takes its volume and drape from the lace itself, allowing the fabric to behave as it wishes rather than forcing it into a conventional silhouette. The cuffs and back yoke are the only departures: handwoven cotton piqué, adding structure precisely where the body needs it and nowhere else.
Worn with the eight-panelled linen cap — a kasket in the traditional sense — the overall effect sits somewhere between a working man’s dignity and something entirely out of time.

∙ Original FN bespoke pattern
∙ Accompanied by eight-panel linen kasket cap
Woven by hand in cotton piqué, this jacket is structured yet unconventional. The cut is an original FN pattern — clean lapels, a patch pocket, a single handcrafted button — but what defines it is the fastening: a drawstring tie at the waist, the uçkur, which has become the quiet signature of the FN label. Practical in origin, poetic in effect — it gathers the jacket at the body with a looseness that no button could achieve.
The red lining glimpsed at the cuff is the only colour in the entire collection. It is enough.
