The FN mintan returns — this time in woad blue. Not simply “blue,” but the precise, saturated indigo of the çivit otu plant: a colour with a history older than any fashion house, worn by Anatolian craftsmen, dyers, and wanderers for centuries. The cut is the same bespoke FN pattern — deep V, generous sleeve, gathered at the wrist — but in this shade, it becomes something altogether more charged. Electric against the skin. Serious in sunlight.

This skirt was designed for a woman who has been awarded an Italian title of chivalry. Its logic is architectural: the same cloth used for trousers, left deliberately unstitched — the seams that would have closed the legs are instead left open, allowed to fall as panels, as wings, as something between garment and gesture. The raw-fringed hem is not unfinished; it is the point. Structure at the waist, wilful asymmetry below. A skirt that knows exactly what it is.
